Portable Garment Steamer need to be cleaned regularly. After a period of use, the water tank and steam channel are prone to accumulate scale and impurities, which will affect the heating effect and steam output efficiency. Here are some cleaning suggestions:
Water tank: It is very important to clean the water tank regularly to avoid scale accumulation. First, disconnect the power supply and wait for the garment steamer to cool down. Then, remove the water tank, pour out the water inside, thoroughly clean the inside of the water tank with clean water and mild detergent, and finally rinse it with clean water and make sure the water tank is completely dry before installing it.
Clean the iron panel: Use a soft cloth with a small amount of detergent to gently wipe the surface of the iron panel. Be careful not to use too much force to avoid scratching or damaging the panel. After cleaning, wipe it with a damp cloth and make sure the surface is dry.
Steam pipe: You can use a mixture of white vinegar and water for cleaning. After mixing white vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio, put it into the water tank, turn on the machine and heat it for a few minutes, then empty the water tank and rinse it.
Nozzle and nozzle: Wipe the nozzle with a soft brush or damp cloth to prevent clogging. Make sure the nozzle is free of dust and debris.
External cleaning: Clean the outside of the device regularly, especially the power supply and plug parts, to avoid dust accumulation.
Regularly cleaning the portable garment steamer not only prolongs its service life, but also ensures the steam effect every time it is used. The frequency of cleaning depends on the usage, usually a full cleaning is performed every 1-2 months.
